Owning a private jet is a commitment. Foremost, it is a commitment of a vast sum of money that most just simply don’t have. That isn’t to say that the private jet is forever elusive, as schemes such as the fractional ownership plan have allowed low budgets to obtain private jets too.

Buying in a fraction of a jet is a lot like buying a stock. You will essentially own a share of the jet, and have a say in who uses it, why, and when. If you can find a company that manages the relationship between you and other investors, all the better the relationships will be. You can expect to get the jet plane according to a set schedule, or according to a certain amount of hours as set by the company.

Even if you need out of the ownership, there is usually a clause that states you are able to do so. A minimum commitment is required, but after this period, you are free to liquidate your share in the private jet charter. Whether you or the company handles it is the question of course. If the company handles it, doesn’t settle for anything less than fair market value if you are able to.

Find a private jet ownership model that guarantees availability. These managed services will ship out a different private jet should another stakeholder be using the one in question. Guaranteed availability is necessary for business owners who need to get in the air at a moment’s notice in order to secure their next business deal.

Find out about all fees before signing the papers. This can’t be stressed enough, as there will still be periodic fees for the maintenance of the jet. The massive amount of money it takes to finance these operations will be considerably less since you only own a fraction of the jet, but be aware that there are still fees. Keep some room in your budget to pay them upfront after finding out the estimated costs.

Press the charter company for every detail possible in regards to what you can or can’t do. While it will all be outlined in your contract, odds are that the company won’t go over everything with you unless you specifically ask. It might also help to find a lawyer, or find a previous client that has signed a contract- perhaps a friend or family member. Ask them how they felt about the contract and service.

Closing Comments

Finding a private jet charter that does fractional ownership isn’t always easy, since it’s a niche of an already targeted industry. Private jet companies will be glad to do the consulting for you if they don’t already have services set in stone, so long as you ask nicely.

Overseas medical insurance has been bringing lots of help to people who have them over their medical expenses. But purchasing medical insurance is somewhat complicated because you need to learn the right policies you will need for your specific situation. Here are factors that may help you find the right medical insurance for you.

Overseas medical insurance has been bringing lots of help to people who have them over their medical expenses. But there is some complication when purchasing the correct insurance policy for you because it actually depends on certain situations. Read on to know the specific factors which may benefit you greatly in buying the right medical insurance.

Typically, you need to familiarize some terms, conditions and policies of medical insurance for overseas use. These are the essential elements you have to take note of when purchasing your medical insurance. You have to know the basic premise and regulations enforced by the company to avoid conflicts. In fact, this is only a basic knowledge you need to find out when looking for medical insurance.

Secondly, you must get an insurance company that provides various types of medical insurance. There will be more selections to choose from in terms of the different varieties of medical insurance which can be made available to you. Thus, it will be easier for you to get the most typical medical insurance for your travel needs.

Another crucial element you have to bear in mind are the plan deductibles. You need to find out the exact amount you have to pay the company for the deductibles. Because insurance policies differ from one another, the deductibles will also differ in some respects. But the best policies to have will be those which have a lot of deductibles, because it is inversely proportional to the premiums which you have to pay.

Last but not the least, you have to know the limitations of the medical insurance. You have to know that not all things can be covered by your insurance. There are some insurance policies which have limited coverage, so you have to be aware of the limited benefits of some of these insurance. If you deem it necessary to have additional coverage, you need to pay additional money to have those benefits included.

These are important factors you must consider when looking for medical insurance. So before heading out to travel, make sure that you have identified these crucial factors in your medical insurance.

So when it is time to travel to other countries be sure to use our international health insurance.

In the Danube Delta marshlands, built out of the river itself, lies the picturesque town of Vilkovo. Situated where the Danube River splits into three as it meets the Black Sea, this town is extraordinary not only for its diverse culture, but also for its integration with the astonishing nature under and around it.

Declared a town in 1775, Vilkovo has been home to Greek, Roman, Ottoman and Slavic cultures over the centuries, each leaving a distinctive culture behind, and contributing to the diversity of this picturesque town. Because so much of the town is waterway, boats are the primary form of transport, and each home has at least one boat moored at its doorstep. Most of these boats are built exactly as the Cossack ’seagull’ boats were centuries ago, although they are now commonly called ‘herring’ boats as that is what they are primarily used for. There are three churches in Vilkovo, all named after Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of fishermen, sailors and travellers.

The Danube herring is considered a delicacy in restaurants throughout Europe, and fishing for this and other species is one of the major industries of Vilkovo. The Danube delta and the Black Sea provide wonderful fishing for anglers on vacation, including giant carp and catfish fishing. Naturally, fish forms a large part of the cuisine in the area, and you would be wise to try the fish dishes at the local restaurants and cafs.

The homes and gardens in Vilkovo are each built on their own island, built up from river sediment. This explains the areas nickname – ‘The Ukrainian Venice’. These are high maintenance homes though, as each year a trench around the house has to be dug out to replace sediment on the island, allow boats access, and prevent flooding. Without the addition of more silt each year, the homes would sink back into the marsh. The sediment is very rich, and the gardens in Vilkovo are magnificent.

Wooden walkways traverse the waterways and channels, providing lovely walks for visitors to the town, past the extraordinary homes and gardens of Vilkovo. The fertile sediment has led to Vilkovo gaining fame for its fruit, particularly strawberries, apples and quince. The town is also known for its local range of wines produced from Novak grapes. Visitors beware though, it is a higher concentration of alcohol than you may be used to.

Being a marshland, Vilkovo forms part of the Danube Biosphere Reserve and is home to over 950 plant species and 260 bird species, including pelican, cormorant, spoonbills and sea-eagle. Visitors to Vilkovo in spring and summer will be greeted by vast reedbeds, lily-coated lakes and in spring, frogs abound. Nature tours are a must in this diverse reserve, and boat tours through the Danube Delta provide visitors with a bird’s eye view of the flora, fauna and beauty of this region. Perhaps most importantly, visitors will experience a taste of life that is governed by the natural rhythms of water, climate and seasons. A visit to Vilkovo will leave you at peace, having traversed the waters of the Ukrainian Venice.

Vilkovo.eu Вилково For additional info about Vilkovo town please visit our website http://www.vilkovo.eu/ where you will find out more about Vilkovo fishing tourism and Вилково wild nature tours and have a look at Vilkovo adverts and classifieds and Вилкове discussion boards Enjoy Vilkovo.

You should know the importance of having a good night of sleep if you have slept in an RV before. When you spend most if not all day behind the wheel driving and it comes to the end of the day your RV the mattress becomes the most important item in the RV.

It has become a common error, neglecting the importance of a comfortable mattress in your RV. In our obsession to get out on the open road, we might overlook how critical a good RV mattress is to not just our sleep, but the overall quality of our trip as well. The best trip can be turned into a miserable experience using an uncomfortable RV mattress.

The basic RV mattresses that come standard in all RV’s provided often are not nearly as comfortable as they should be or we expect them to be. Because sleep is very important, a comfortable mattress in your RV is a necessity. It is not uncommon for experts to recommend receiving an adequate amount of quality and refreshing sleep. And this is under what they consider to be “normal” circumstances!

The RV lifestyle can involve many more hours in the driving seat than normal commuting. More so, your vehicle comes with its own hurdles No additional factors need to be introduced. So taking that into consideration, you can probably see why getting a good night’s sleep is so essential to the day’s driving ahead.

You should enjoy your time on road. Your RV experience can simply be ruined by a horrible night’s sleep. Considering how reasonably priced high-quality RV mattresses now are, there is every reason to make the investment. After all, a high-quality RV mattress will likely last just as long as your RV itself. The thought of that is something we can all sleep easy knowing.

Bill Hamilton was a teacher before he hit retirement. Once Bill turned 60, he began working on her book about the best National Parks to visit in an RV. Bill also has an advice column where he writes about the best RVs and the necessities for travel, like RV mattresses.

When you become a parent you probably think it’s the end of your traveling adventures or that you will have to wait at least 15 years to go on a family vacation. Let me tell you it doesn’t have to be like that. I mean, yes you will have to be more careful but it doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. What you have to know for sure is that you won’t be able to go to and from the touristic destinations as fast as you used to. That means spending a couple more of days in the place you are visiting.

You also have to have in mind that kids need some rest and it can be stressful for them to be moving around all the time. What you can do is to limit the number of places to see to 4 or 5 if they are close. If they involve long car or bus rides just see 2 or 3 places.

You also have to have in mind that kids need some rest and it can be stressful for them to be moving around all the time. What you can do is to limit the number of places to see to 4 or 5 if they are close. If they involve long car or bus rides just see 2 or 3 places. That is why finding a hotel that is in a central location from the places you want to visit and to come back to it at least once a day to rest is also a good idea. This way kids won’t be worn out that fast.

b. How To Relax When Traveling With Kids? As a traveling mom I can’t help asking myself this question every time we are about to go on vacation “What happens if I lose my child?” And I think most traveling moms do, especially the ones with small, wandering children. So I figured out a way to help diminish that worry.

If you’re traveling to/through foreign countries, you may want to put the information in the native language of the countries you are planning to visit.

c. Kid Essential I’m a freak. I’ll admit it! I’m ridiculously paranoid my son is either going to get lost or kidnapped. Yes, I have serious issues to resolve, but that doesn’t stop me from being extra cautious. My son is at the age where he can understand what to do if we are separated.

My son is at the age where he can understand what to do if we are separated. Sometimes screaming: “MAMA, PAPA” in a crowded location doesn’t do the trick. But a extra powerful whistle does!

I know, when you first buy it for them they will drive you batty by blowing it every five milliseconds. But trust me, the novelty does wear off and if explained properly they will understand the importance of this essential traveling accessory.

d. More Traveling with Kids This might sound super obvious, but I find my husband constantly forgetting to do this easy but insanely necessary act:

Ask my son before we head off in car, bus, or train if he has to PEE! And, of course, 10 minutes into the drive, stuck in traffic somewhere my son screams, ‘I have to do Pee Pee!”

It’s amazing how quickly they find the extra water in their bladder to get rid off!

e. Flying with Kids Can Be Fun! Before child I remember my flying time was full of catching up with my journal, or reading a good book, or just plain sleeping. Now, I have to have EVERY SECOND of plane time accounted for or the trip above the clouds can turn into a true disaster not only by driving me nuts, but everyone seated around me.

Now, I have to have EVERY SECOND of plane time accounted for or the trip above the clouds can turn into a true disaster not only by driving me nuts, but everyone seated around me.

If you’re flying from the States, Europe, Canada, Australia or other Western countries there are plenty $1 type shops. So go nuts! Splurge! Imagine what you can do with $20 bucks.

Here’s a secret for you and what can eat up a good amount of time:

Here’s a secret for you and what can eat up a good amount of time: wrap them up in gift paper and present them as gifts!

f. Let Them Get Wet! I know whenever I travel anywhere with my son and there is water in the vicinity he is just aching to get wet! I mean, it doesn’t matter if he’s in winter clothes, he’ll just jump right in and get soaked. I’m personally not a great lover of water and never understood the insane attraction.

However, after traveling around with my friends who didn’t care so much about their kids getting wet from their hats (heads) to their sneakers (feet) because they always had an extra set of clothes and shoes.

Amazingly enough, my son’s adventure is that much better. But the best part, he thinks his mom is the da bomb!

a. Season Matters When Traveling to Costa Rica: Living in Costa Rica I figured a way to enjoy traveling without spending too much but most importantly without having to spend my vacations among the crowds. And this is my conclusion: Late April, May, and October offer good weather with lower rates. Also between June and September and someties even November you will get good rates but not a very nice weather. December to early April are the driest months and the peak of the tourist season, so you can expect higher prices, less rooms available and crowds.

b. Costa Rican Water: Most people traveling around Central America are very concerned about how clean the water really is. And I have to admit was one of them until I found out that unlike most Latin American countries Costa Rica has a fairly safe water supply.

Want some Proof? Here is the fact that it is the only country of the region where Heineken allows its beer to be brewed. Salads are generally safe to eat because they usually use clean water to irrigate crops.

c. Money To Change or Not to Change! One of the most common questions I get from travelers is if they should change money before coming or not?

If you are going to change the money here are some recommendations:

1. Every country is different, but in Costa Rica don’t change money anywhere except BANKS and always bring a passport. Here is where you will get the best rates.

2. ATMs are plentiful, you’ll get the best rates however, you’ll pay the small fee.

3. Very few places exchange travelers checks these days, and even fewer give good rates, plus they charge 1-2% on top of it.

Cash or Credit?

I won’t lie to you, cash is king in Costa Rica. Plus, whenever you go out, ask if for the cash (Efectivo) discount and chances are you ‘ll get 5-10% off. This can be done anywhere from tour operators, to hotels, to restaurants to pharmacies.

Some places will even charge you 8% for credit card usages. Plus if you go to a local market, local currency goes much further than the dollar. You stand out less and feel more comfortable.

d. Waiting Is the Hardest Part That’s right, if you’re coming to Costa Rica be prepared to wait! In this country this is a norm. Sorry to break it to you, but it’s so true. Nothing is on time in Costa Rica. Just doesn’t happen. So come with lots of patience and besides, what’s the rush?

e. Bring plenty of Ziploc bags: Nothing stays dry there. I recommend the “Big Bags” for clothes and shoes (bring at least two or three) and several quart-size bags. I tried to do laundry in the sink and air dry, but found it very difficult to dry most articles. Since most people do rafting, swimming, waterfalls, or just crossing over streams, you’ll need bags to separate your wet stuff from your semi-dry. I would also recommend bringing plenty of changes of clothes, especially if you’re an adventurous spirit.

f. Emergency Numbers: Luckily in Costa Rica the emergency number is 911 too. It is great because they speak English and are quite helpful. The problem though, is the fact that Costa Rica has one of the trickiest address and direction systems in Central America. So learn your address well!

a. How Much Is It? Even though prices aren’t always the same in each region of Guatemala you might want to have some reference:

A short taxi ride inside Guatemala City can cost you between $3 and $7.

A soda can be between 5 and 15 Quetzals ($2 or $3). A Beer is between 10 and 35 Quetzals ($1 and $5).

A traditional breakfast that includes: Coffee, beans eggs and juice can cost anywhere from $2 and $7.

A lunch special can be 30 or 60 Quetzals ($4 to $8).

A lunch or dinner in a more exclusive place (recommended) can be between 50 and 300 Quetzals ($7 to $38).

The internet hour costs an average of 8 Quetzals (U$1).

The hotel accommodations may cost:

5 Stars: U$100 to U$200

4 Stars: U$80 to U$100

3 Stars U$50 to $80

2 Or fewer: U$10 to u$50

b. Chicken Buses – Go At Your Own Risk! Buses are by far the cheapest and most efficient way to get around the Central American Region but let me tell you not all of them.

There are some great bus companies where you can buy your ticket in advance; they are very comfortable really cheap. So there is no real reason to take a chicken bus, and here I have some more reasons to avoid them:

You are pushed and pulled the whole way

They tend to stop very frequently

Because of all the stops it takes forever to get anywhere

The door is always opened so thieves take them very often

They are usually so crowded that they don’t smell very good

c. Ask Before Taking Pictures: When I first came to Guatemala all I did was take pictures of everything and everyone. One day I was at the local market and I overheard a couple of local ladies talking about them not wanting people from other countries to take pictures of their kids.

So if you want to stay out of trouble avoid contact with local’s kids as much as you can or if you speak Spanish ask for their parent’s permission first.

d. Best Season To Visit Guatemala: April to October is Guatemala’s Green season, this is when you can get the best prices.

But there’s a catch, it’s also the time of the year when you can do almost nothing because it rains almost every afternoon and sometimes all day long. That’s why the months between November and May (the dry season) are highly recommended. There are many things to do in the country during this time, but the highlights are: In November you will be witness of the celebrations of the day of the death, in December you are welcome to join the Christmas festivities and April will let you see Semana Santa, the Holy Week before Easter where the country opens up with parades and celebrations all over the country, most notably, in Antigua.

e. Parking in Antigua Guatemala: Driving in Antigua Guatemala is not a wise thing to do. It is a small place with lots of great hotels, restaurants and way too many cars, so take my advice and don’t.

You can rent a bike, a scooter or even better walk since it’s a small city you can walk across it in 30 minutes. But if you are driving in Antigua anyway, do not park on the red or white line of the street. The red line is on the edge of the sidewalk 10 feet away from each corner and in some streets, mainly the ones closer to the park, you will see white lines, they are for motorcycles ONLY! The reason? There are transit policemen on almost every corner and will give you a $25 fine if you do. Also be aware because sometimes you will find little ads on the light poles announcing that you cannot park there. Usually it’s because a procession is going to pass through that street at any moment. If you do your car will be towed and the fine for that is $60 if you want your car back.

f. Safety Tips When Traveling In Guatemala: Guatemala as the rest of Central American countries has a bad reputation, and you do need to be on your guard. The thing is it’s really no more dangerous than any other large city in a developing country, so don’t get paranoid.

Any way you might want to avoid being preyed upon by pickpockets and other unsavory characters, so here are a couple things you can do:

Leave expensive jewelry and watches at home,

Don’t carry purses, camera bags and phones or carry them close to your body,

Take along only as much cash as you need,

Carry a photocopy of your passport, leaving the original in your hotel safe,

At night stick to well-lighted and transited areas.

g. Register Your Trip in Guatemala – And Feel Safe! The US Gov’t recommends you secure your trip to Guatemala City by hiring, for a super super low price, the Tourist Police. You can arrange all of this before heading to Guatemala. Here’s what you have to do:

You can arrange all of this before heading to Guatemala. Here’s what you have to do: Security escorts for tourist groups and security information are available from the Tourist Assistance Office (ASISTUR) of INGUAT (the Guatemalan Tourism Institute) at 7a Avenida 1-17, Zona 4, Centro Cvico, Guatemala City. INGUAT’s ASISTUR division has 24-hour/seven days per week direct telephone numbers for tourist assistance and emergencies. These are (502) 2421-2810 and (502) 5578-9836. The fax is (502) 2421-2891.

Requests should provide the itinerary, names of travelers, and model and color of the vehicle in which they will be traveling. Travelers should also be aware that INGUAT might not be able to accommodate all requests. The normal fee is 50 quetzales ($6) for a few hours, 200 quetzales ($26) if you have them for longer and they need to be fed. 400 quetzales ($50) if you have to keep them overnight. Plus you have to pay their gas.
